An unnaturally cold wind blows through this valley. Sometimes the wind carries snow and turns into a blizzard (Skill Challenge).

This valley connects to a portal in the Iron Wastes. As Graz’zt’s corrupting influence takes hold of Snowdown, more links like this to the Iron Wastes will appear.

Through the portal comes an evil, Abyssal hunger than manifests itself as wendigo manhunters and wendigo soulcatchers (cf Demonomicon).
